Health & Productivity Declaration
Aichi Tokei Denki believes we can realize our Corporate Philosophy of Reliability, Creativity, and Service by enabling our employees to work in health and with enjoyment, and by allowing each individual to fully exercise their potential.
We therefore declare that we will further advance the initiatives we have undertaken thus far to maintain and improve the health of our employees, and that we will ensure the Company, labor union, health insurance society, and employees work in unison in an effort to maintain and improve both mental and physical health.

In July 2020, then President and Representative Director Toshiyuki Hoshika announced the Health & Productivity Declaration for Aichi Tokei Denki.
Coinciding with his appointment as the new President in April 2022, Kenji Kunishima reaffirmed the Health & Productivity Declaration, and verified the Company’s continuing stance of engaging in Health & Productivity Management.
Specific Initiative Details
- Physical Health
- We arranged a health consultation call service staffed by industrial physicians and nurses that allows users to consult with medical professionals 24 hours a day year-round, thereby allowing employees to consult immediately about any concerns.

- Periodic dissemination of health-related information (company newsletters, Health Support Division newsletters)
- Implementation of regular health checkups covering more exam items than is legally required
- Enhanced women’s health checkups (breast cancer, uterine cancer)
- Provision of subsidies for influenza vaccination
- Implementation of measures to combat metabolic syndrome
- Follow-up with diabetics and potential diabetics
- Coordination with external medical institutions
- Introduction of the Aichi Health Plus mobile health support app
- No smoking on all company premises
- Mental Health
- We implement measures to prevent mental health issues and to detect issues at an early stage, including offering mental health training and consultations with industrial physicians and nurses. Moreover, we are also focused on preventing recurrence of mental health issues, for example through periodic meetings with those who have returned to work from a leave of absence.

- We engage in initiatives to ensure compliance with appropriate working hours and to encourage employees to take paid leave. Moreover, we engage in initiatives to support employees in their efforts to balance child rearing and nursing care with work, and strive to create stress-free working environments for all.

- Implementation of 8:00 pm lights-out for the Headquarters.
- Establishment of a shortened work hours system for child rearing that exceeds the legally mandated content (available for use with children up to the third grade of elementary school)
- Establishment of a system through which paid leave can be taken to care for ill children (up to 10 days per year depending on the conditions. Of these, five days of paid leave can be taken)
- Promotion of diverse work styles
- Coordination with the Supply Chain
- We believe that expanding health and productivity management initiatives beyond the Company to other Group companies and suppliers will help enhance added-value and strengthen competitiveness throughout the supply chain. We therefore inform and educate others of health and productivity management, and provide support for initiatives.

In recognition of the above initiatives, we were certified under the 2025 Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program (Large Enterprise Category), jointly organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the NIPPON KENKO KAIGI.
What is the Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program?
This is a program through which the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the NIPPON KENKO KAIGI certify organizations that consider the health of their employees from a management perspective and that strategically engage in health management.
