| Overview | The Yabukibaru Land Improvement District is one of the largest land improvement districts in Fukushima Prefecture. It is a flat area of numerous small hills sandwiched between the Abukuma River and its tributary the Shakado River (upstream is the Kumado River) in southern Nakadori, Fukushima Prefecture. This improvement area encompasses the Taishin district of Shirakawa City, Izumisaki Village and Yabuki Town in Nishi-Shirakawa County, Kagamiishi Town in Iwase County, and two cities, two towns, and one village in Sukagawa City. To support agriculture in this vast area, our integrated monitoring and control system was selected to reconstruct the water management system. |
