As part of our community outreach efforts through sports this year, we held the “4th Atsuta Aichitokei Cup Baseball Tournament” for elementary school baseball teams at Atsuta Jingu Park. (Co-hosted by Atsuta Jingu Park <Designated Manager: Iwama Landscaping Co., Ltd.>)
A total of 10 teams, primarily from Nagoya City, participated. The opening ceremony and preliminary rounds were held on Saturday, May 9; the quarterfinals on Sunday, May 10; the semifinals on Saturday, May 16; and the finals on Sunday, May 17, all at Atsuta Aichitokei 120 Stadium.
Based on the concept of a “child-centered tournament,” we received feedback from participants such as, “Thank you for providing an environment where children can enjoy playing baseball, and for this valuable opportunity,” and “It was a wonderful experience to play at such a beautiful stadium.”
We will continue to engage in social contribution activities to foster a sense of connection with the local community.
