INFRASTRUCTURE

  • SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENT OF ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE

By installing flow meters in each block, you can understand how the water is used and can detect areas where leaks come from. In addition, by accurate metering, water bills can be accurately calculated. Our advanced technologies can be applied as measures against natural disasters such as floods and landslides by detecting levels and flow rates of rivers as well as investigating drainage from groundwater drainage ports. We manufacture products that are suitable for the environment of each country, for example, by implementing measures against water theft, by installing a prepaid metering function, and by providing test machines that measure an accurate flow rate, etc.

  • EQUIPPING SAFETY DEVICES TO DOMESTIC GAS METERS

Like intelligent diaphragm gas meters in which safety devices are built, with creative ideas and advanced technological capabilities nurtured in the land of Japan. Which is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, our gas meters significantly contribute to reducing explosions and fire resulting from gas leaks, that is to offer values that go beyond the realm of just measuring. As Japan's leading manufacturer of intelligent gas meters for cities and propane gases for household use, we have produced more than 50 million units of diaphragm and ultrasonic gas meters thus far.

  • MEASURING LARGE AMOUNTS OF GAS FLOWS

For vital customers of gas providers such as metal, petrochemical, food and machinery manufacturing factories that consume a large amount of gases, we offer roots meters (rotary gear type), ultrasonic meters and turbine gas meters. Not only the high range capabilities, but also our products are capable of measuring large volumes of flows in contrast to their compact size designs, which will also contribute to reducing the cost of installation and maintenance.

  • MEASURING THE AMOUNT OF SEWAGE

In Japan, the sewage charge is calculated on the premise of "all the used water should be discharged into sewers." However, this is not the case all the time and in fact, some water is not discharged into sewers. A considerable amount of water is vaporized in cooling towers and boilers. Beverage manufacturers use a majority of water in their products. Discussion and approval from a local government will be required for this matter, but it is possible for you to reduce a significant amount of utility expense by measuring sewage flow. We developed the world's first flow meter that can measure partially filled water, which enables the measurement of sewage flow and eventually will cut your utility expense.

  • MONITORING OF AND PROTECTION AGAINST NATURAL DISASTERS

You can implement high-degree measures against disasters by introducing a system that immediately stops the supply of gas in the event of an earthquake, and by installing sensors on bridge girders to monitor river flow, used in combination with flood warning devices.

  • REMOTE MONITORING OF FACILITIES

Our technologies allow you to analyze operation of the Gas Heat Pump (GHP) and cogeneration systems as well as various data including temperature, in a remote monitoring center. They can also be used for controlling and monitoring dam facilities, monitoring pump operations, remote control and monitoring of agricultural irrigation facilities, etc., through versatile communication methods such as the Internet and telephone lines, to realize energy conservation and cost reduction as well as effective operation and management of facilities.

  • FOR STABLE WATER SUPPLY

With our technologies, we not only provide map information, the function of inputting and displaying attributes, and searching properties of water supply pipes, but also can perform essential analysis for water projects such as pipe network analysis, water supply analysis and water suspension analysis.

  • STABLE SUPPLY OF NATURAL GASES

In China, people are calling for fair and equitable transactions and for safety and secure in accordance with the expansion of the use of natural gases. In such circumstances, our ultrasonic flow meters have been widely introduced due to their wide flow ranges, no accuracy deterioration, and superior durability. In the U.K., our turbine flow meters have been used for more than 25 years.

  • CONTRIBUTING TO THE HYDROGEN ENERGY SOCIETY

As a measure against global warming and energy issues, utilization of hydrogen has been proposed. One of the effective ways to realize this is to propagate stationary fuel cell systems. In the future, if the infrastructure of hydrogen gas is improved as much as the one there is for city gas, a system that measures the consumption of hydrogen gas safely and securely for a long period of time will be needed. We develop hydrogen meters of superior economy, safety and convenience in cooperation with research institutes and participate in demonstration experiments led by public institutions of Japan, in order to prepare for the upcoming hydrogen-driven society. We have also supplied our products to automobile manufacturers for the test system of fuel cell vehicles. In addition, we have a long history of providing gas flow sensors built in fuel cells.

  • MANAGING THE AMOUNT OF PUMPED UP GROUNDWATER

In the Netherlands, where most areas are polders, when in implementing large-scale construction, it is required by law to manage the amount of pumped up groundwater and to return the water back to the ground after the construction. We have provided lightweight and compact ultrasonic flow meters to a pump manufacturer in the Netherlands. Our products receive a high evaluation for their strength against impurities present in groundwater, a structure that does not disturb pump abilities, as for well as their unparalleled lightweight for easy carrying.

  • MAINTENANCE-FREE DESIGNING

Industrial flow meters that we boast to the world have no mechanical parts i.e. impellers. Therefore, you do not need to worry about inclusion of such foreign objects as sand, as well as failure due to overflow. Pressure loss would almost never occur, too. No external power sources are needed, as they run on batteries. And this frees you from the constraint of mounting positions. Our thorough effort in pursuing compact and lightweight designs also enables you to install meters in various locations that once were impossible.
