2. ISSUES BEFORE INTRODUCTION
In medical dialysis machines, the amount of waste removed through the filter and redundant water need to be closely monitored. The mechanical monitoring system employed by traditional dialysis machines was very complex and expensive in cost. Above all, the major issue was that the dialysis machines had to be huge to include the entire mechanical system.
These issues can be resolved by introducing flow sensors. Therefore, we were waiting for flow meters that could satisfy rigorous standards regarding accuracy, stability and safety.
3. BACKGROUND TO THE INTRODUCTION OF AICHI'S FLOW METERS
Everything started when our engineers, who were in search of flow sensors for many years, happened to see Aichi's sensors. Since then, we collaborated with Aichi to develop various technologies together and finally completed the ideal flow meter. We believe this success came from a wide range of knowledge in fluid measurement and technologies of electromagnetic flow meters that Aichi accumulated over a long period of time. At the same time, Aichi's gracious and sincere attitude towards satisfying our request specifications played a major role in this success.
4. EFFECT AFTER INTRODUCTION
We have been using Aichi's flow meters for a decade. We have officially introduced Aichi's new electromagnetic flow sensors VNG in our new and main dialysis machine Artis, the mass production of which has just begun. This dialysis machine will be used in hospitals across the world focusing on Europe.
